Part 2 (800 words) – Treatment planning
Referring to Richard Nelson-Jones (2014) – (and any additional sources) – discuss how you would work with this client. What strategies could you utilise? What are the practical issues you need to consider, and how would you overcome them? You will need to consider the provisional diagnosis and unique diagnostic features from Part 1 when answering this question.
Part 3 (300 words) – Ethical issues
What ethical considerations are important to this case? Use the APS code of ethics and Richard Nelson-Jones (2014) guidelines to identify and outline the key ethical concerns in this case. What are some suggestions for ameliorating the most concerning ones?
Part 4 (300 words) – Recommendations
What are your recommendations regarding future support for this client? Recommendations are to be made regarding needs in terms of support, possible treatment, further assessment if necessary, and any other factors that may need to be addressed (HINT: Ms Smith talks about other people besides herself in the interview).
